Anyone own a Canon ZR500?

Office Depot has the ZR500 on sell for $199 out the door and the Sony $239. I was considering replacing my Samsung SCD103 with one if its any better. Figured I would get $100-$125 out of the one I got.

Opinions?

The ZR500 is a good little camcorder. I own the ZR600 which is just about like it, except that I can shoot stills onto a multimedia card.
I don't know anything about your Samsung. There only problem with the Canon is that it doesn't have a built in light, like it's competition from Panasonic and JVC. But if you don't need the light, then the Canon will give you excellent results.

Well the biggest problem with the Samsung I got is it bites in low light situations even with the built on light. Quality is just horrible. Also you can hear slight noise in all my videos from the camera operating.
