anyone own a Canon ZR100?

was thinking of picking one up as a extremlycheap dv cam...would like some opinions from people who own one, though

all i'll be doing is shooting some stuff around the house, maybe some stuff at the lake or something like that...so i don't need anything really expensive

The worst criticism I've heard is that as with seemingly all entry level camcorders, the microphone picks up motor noise on the recordings.

Are you looking at the Dell deals?

i was actually gonna pick one up locally at wally world...it would be $300 out the door basically...could i get a better deal elsewhere?
