We recently bought a 05 Pontiac G6, but the dealership didn't have the owners manual. There is a button next to the cigarette lighter labeled "TC" does anyone know what that does?

On a side note, if anyone has an owner's manual as a PDF they could send to me i'd be eternally grateful.

I'm assuming traction control is for when the roads are slippery or icy? Does anyone know what it actually does?

There is a GM site where you can put in your VIN number and sign up. They have a PDF of the manual, warranty and other information.

traction control reduces the throttle when the wheels slip from too much power. yes, this will primarily help when it is slippery out. the button probably turns it OFF.

Correct, I have had a 99 Grand Am and a 02 Grand Prix and the button turns it off, and a light comes on by your gauges that says TRAC OFF. I always leave mine on.
