Anyone own a 1992 BMW 325i (6cyl, 4-spd Automatic)?

Hey guys,
I am thinking about buying a 1992 BMW 325i for about $5500. I am a little worried about the rated gas mileage--it seems pretty low. What do you think of your 1992 325i and what do you get in terms of miles/gallon.

Also, what do you think of the choice between buying a nicer, but older, car (like a 1992 BMW) versus buying a newer, but more average car (like a late 90's Camry, Nissan, Jetta, etc).

for what it's worth, the EPA ratings are 16 MPG in the city and 18MPG on the highway.

my brothers car is supposed to get 24mpg... it gets over 30.. his is stick and it depends on how you drive.

318i. My dream car baby. I'd LOVE to have like a 96 318i.

I get 21 MPG average in my 99 M3

it's almost bottom of the barrel for BMW cars. It's not nearly as bad as the 318/315, but it's still pretty low on the poll. With that aside, if you like it, buy it!
