anyone overclock the x1300? wanna compare ?

i picked up a sapphire x1300 refurb from newegg recently. $55+tax. came with retail box and all stuff.

has 2.8ns infineon ram on it and fanless heatsink.
i've been able to run 575/810 stable, from a stock of 450/500. huge boost btw. tried 580/820 and i get a hardlock so not exactly x1300 pro speeds which as 600/800 (i've heard x1300 pros dont overclock much more than that though)

i know a lot of the other brand x1300 non pros have 2.5ns hynix which is the same ram as the pro one (it hink they are basically the exact same card)

just was wondering whateveryone else was getting and if i was in the neighborhood/.

What kind of performance do you get with that? Just curious

Do you think its a good idea to OC with just that dinky heatsink? It maybe fine for a little while but may end up damaging the card.

lol, ever OC a 9600NP? Worked like charm and didn't get that extremely hot in a decent case. These babies should be just fine!

well the heatsink is huge, its like 5 times the size of a normal say chipset sized one , covers almost the whole card.


myc ase is btx too, so air blows on the heatsink.

i guess it performs pretty well, i didnt really do any benchmarks but its about 50% faster it seems, and most online benchmarks seem to say that would be about right.
