Anyone overclock an athlon classic??

I have an athlon classic 1Ghz and an Abit Ka7....elsa gladiac geforce2 gts 32mb....256mb of micron pc133 ram....and a 400 watt power supply....is there any way to get a (significant) boost out of this system without sacrificing stability and reliability....its really not worth it to me to only get 100Mhz or so out of it....
 
slot a's are multiplier locked so you have to buy one of those goldfinger devices but i doubt it is worth it for 30 bux (i have not checked the price recently) since you'll be lucky to hit 1.2 Ghz even with multiplier unlock
 
SlotA multipliers only go to 10.5 and I have never seen one that would work above 10 with any kind of GFD. It ought to run with a 110mhz FSB for 1100mhz but I wouldn't expect much better than that.
 
I agree, my brother has a 750MHz Slot A and he can only overclock it to 1020MHz. This architecture maxes out at about 1100MHz...
