Anyone out there OWN a Qlogic 1080 SCSI Adapter? NEED HELP!

Title says it all. I recently acquired the fore mentioned SCSI card and a Quantum Atlas V 10K drive with the adapter and 68 pin cable. The drive is a 160 LVD and I am using a 68 pin cable that is properly terminated (LVD). I need to know how to configure the card to achieve Ultra-2 SCSI transfer rates = 80 mb/s. I am only getting around 23K kb/s tranfers in HD Tach though the seek time is great. All your expertise is appreciated!
