anyone ordered replacement modular cables

I E-mailed their tech support inquiring about where I could get replacement cables for my HX PSU. I got an email back asking for my shipping address. And got a reply saying it was sent out. Probably is (maybe?) I didn't tell them which cable I was after, since it's already been shipped it's too late to tell them. Am I going to get a whole new set? If that's the case, a huge thumbs up to Corsair :D

Yeah I've heard several stories of Corsair sending out extras like that without question. Great company, for sure

Goodness. Ask for a bunch you don't need and ebay them for a dollar each.

Then buy lunch. :)

they actually emailed me back saying what they were sending, apparently the support guy just assumed I wanted 2 molex and 2 SATA ones. I told him I wanted a PCI-E and a Molex and he changed the order before it shipped. Very nice of them to send out cables the same day I asked them without any hassle.

Yeah, good way to make sure they stop giving out replacement cables :roll:

And this is part of the reason I recommend Corsair PSU's. Not that Seasonic/PCP&C/Antec don't do good jobs either, but this confirms my understanding of "Support" from quality PSU companies. I have 2 great experiences with Antec on PSU's. One I bought brand new and one I got with a combo case/PSU deal that was used. Both got replaced without too much hassle. I just had to pay for shipping to Antec support (after filling out a small form online) and then checked the PSU's when they arrived and promptly sent out 2 PSU's!! Can't ask for much better service there!!
