Their Reseller Ratings look great, but I couldn't find any other independent reviews. I was going to make a $1,600 purchase with the so I want to be sure that I'm dealing with the real mccoy.

Any past customers here?

eWiz is a reputable company. I wouldn't hesitate to order $1600 from them if the price is better than ZZF/Newegg/etc...

I got a few random things off them, a memory fan thing, some other fans, nothing major. They're okay to deal with, didn't have any issues.

They're the retail storefront for their MaLabs distributing side AFAIK. I used to order stuff from MaLabs all the time and never had any problems, although I did will call pickup for everything.

Well, it's for an Asus W5F

NewEgg: $1,798.99 - $100 MIR
ZZF: $1,799.00 - $100 MIR
eWiz = $1,619.16

$100 rebate is not vendor specific so make it $1,519 from eWiz. Even if you don't take the rebate into account, it's still almost $200 cheaper.

Bleh, I hate ASUS, them and their sh!tty quality stuff...
About that rebate. Even if it doesn't state a store to buy from there could be a chance it isn't valid "at" ewiz.
I would email the email addy on that rebate form or call ASUS. Too bad there is no phone number on the rebate form.

??? Asus is one of the best notebook manufacturers out there. They are the OEM manufacturer for a lot of the notebooks on the market.

That being said, I'm an Asus notebook whore. I've had a 15.4" Z70a, I currently have a 14.1" Z63A (about 5.9 pounds with the secondary battery installed) and I want something smaller, so I'm going for the 12.1" W5F (under 4 pounds). I don't mind paying more for Asus quality which is second only to IBM/Lenovo IMHO. The build quality on these things is rock solid. Makes Dell notebooks look like Lego crap (well, just about anything makes Dells look like crap ;)).

As for the rebate. I sent Asus an email 2 days ago and still haven't heard back. Even if I don't though, it doesn't hurt to try...the price would still be almost $100 cheaper than NewEgg and ZZF if the rebate flops.

Yup, I ordered about $1000 worth of stuff last month. Ordered at 5pm CST, shipped same day. If you can find what you want there, they're great.

A few fans IIRC. Everything came and worked fine, although shipping was a bit slower than NewEgg.

Well, they get a big thumbs up from me. Placed an order yesterday morning around 9AM EST. Got a call around noon from a person from eWiz since it was for a large amount of money and he verified my address and said that he would be emailing me a copy of my invoice and asked me to sign it and fax or email it back. I received an email about 2 minutes later. I printed it out, signed it, scanned it in, then emailed it back. My order shipped the same day.

They were very kind and courteous with their emails and they were prompt with their responses. Awesome folks :D
