Anyone ordered an expensive TV online before?

Looking at a couple different DLP TVs. Savings are great online but I'm a bit uneasy with some of the blowout shops.

Anyone ordered a fairly high ticket TV before off the net? What store did you use? How was it?

Amazon and Buydig both have fairly good prices. I would image they are fairly good shops. Still, there's others like AbesofMaine or PlasmaHouse that have it for an even bigger discount.

I bought a 48 inch JVC iArt PRO rptv from overstock, $1012.00 shipped to my livingroom, their shipping was $2.95 yep, two dollars and ninety five cents 😀 three guys did the move from the truck to my living room.

I've ordered from the Tv Authority an $9k plasma 3 weeks ago. No problems at all.

I got a Pioneer RPTV from OneCall about 3 years a go.

No problems at all. Widescreen HDTV is teh bomb 🙂

just make sure that the place you are buying from is an authroized reatailer...otherwise you might run into some problems if the set ever needs warranty repair

I ordered my toshiba 61h61 from Onecall a couple years back, it costed about 500 less there than anywhere around here. And it came with free freight. I say free freight, as it came on a semi truck.

Use a reliable credit card, then you don't really have anything to worry about.
