Just ordered a Evga 7900GTX for 499 with free 2day shipping via fedex. anyone else order?

i ordered my 7900 gtx at monarchcomputer for 479

but it's pny though (only 3 years warranty)

i doubt that i'll be keeping my card for longer than a year let alone 3

cool had to buy the EVGA. PNY i just couldnt see spending 450+ on it.

i doubt they get free stuff everytime something is released. ive spoken with rollo on occasion and im under the impression that a good chunk of his hardware is purchased with his own £££

him and his wife are both bread winners so he has plenty of cash floating around to do the things he likes. i can only salute him for being in that kind of position because its sure nice to be secure like that.

so please dont go making ****** up unless you know, he definately doesnt get everything for free.

Rollo buys MOST of his hardware, FYI. He's only received items recently, and not that many to begin with.

i couldn't help myself... i told myself i was gonna buy the ATI but after hearing about it's noise, power consuption and heat levels.. I decided to go with nvidia and ordered th evga 690/1.76 7900gtx !

spent 680$ with tax and shipping (CDN) from ncix.com

and they've got it on backorder already.. so sad hope it doesn't take too long.. as long as it's in time for oblivion I'll be happy though

upgrading from a 6600GT !!! big upgrade huh... can't wait!
