Anyone order a PS2 from Outpost? READ THIS

I got an email from them today saying they expect to have my ps2 on 03/01/01..

Thats right... MARCH

I called them up and the CSR told me that outpost is not getting ANY PS2's from the intial shipment, and that 03/01/01 is the first ones they will get. He even told me that the shipment they are getting then will not fill the 7000+ preorders they already have.

I tend to disagree with that, because I am sure most people will cancel when they see a March 1st, 2001 estimated ship date.

BTW, I ordered this in August, and now I won't have one by christmas unless I want to pay the ridiculous e-Bay prices.

...or you could just keep a close eye on local shops
and pick one up in the next 2-3 weeks.

Its your own fault for preordering so late.

Oh...I mean they're IBM PS2's.

Just called OutPost. Anyone who ordered from January-June gets first shipment, others don't
