Looking to see if anyone has experience ordering from places like Indochino, Black Label, Modern Tailor, Cotton Works etc? Looking to see if the shirts were decent quality and fit well.

I have several shirts from indochino. The first one didn't fit well at all, but I took some pictures, made some measurement adjustments, and contacted them through their site. I sent the shirt back for a re-make, the new one fit well, and then they sent me the rest of the shirts.

The quality is pretty decent, and my off the rack shirts don't get much use anymore. Fit totally depends on the measurements you send them.

I'd recommend the online custom made shirts, but only if you have plenty of time to accommodate shipping and possible re-shipping. The fact that they'll re-make your shirts if they don't fit is a nice guarantee.

When they fixed the shirt did you have to pay shipping or did they cover it?

from what I've seen, quality is just average. most of the cost seems to go towards the custom measurements. I'd say it depends what you want the shirts for. They'll fit well but they might look a bit boring

You think they are more boring than a plain color dress shirt for a suit?

no, but I rather buy something a bit more unique. but if your deciding between a plain dress shirt and a custom plain dress shirt, the better fit will obviously be better
