With the price bump, Newegg's prices are looking decent right about now. (on the same level as daves)
Anyone know the steppings coming they're shipping?

HAve it installed but not enough time to test..
I took a picture of the stepping so i'll repost it tomorrow. 0550.....

Right now primeing 2.4@ stock Voltage with 1:1 270Mhz(G.Skil PC4000 2x1GB)

But bad news is i first tried 2.7Ghz@1.525 and it failed prime in 3 min. I am not calling this chip out yet as this is not a reinstall of XP and i am not sure if running 270Mhz in the Memeroy Controller was not helping.

I will do a complete test this weekend and i hope i can get 2.7Ghz to match my Venice in Single Threaded Performance : /

Im sittin at 274 with no problems whatsoever, May flash the bios tommorow and see what I can get to. I think 100mhz short of the venice might equal it in performance. I ditched my 3000 venice for this system. I think you have a good chance of gettin a nice chip, probably get to the 2.6 range on average with these but 2.45 is pretty nice.

I got a CCWE0546MPMW Opty 165 from Newegg about 12 days ago. Currently it's at 2.6 at stock voltage. As soon as I get my new RAM I'm confident I can do 2.7. Good Luck!

are you trying to run at 1:1 with the memory..that would be 290mhz..if so loosen the memory timings to 3-4-4-8 or use a divider

also crucial ram as I recall is not voltage hungery so it could also be the increased vdimm

I followed ZEBO'S quick and dirty guide

set mem to ddr200, then clocked up @stock vcore or auto which my board had at 1.4 ?
at 290 stock vcore failed prime core0 right away, 1.5vcore failed prime after 10 minutes core0 54c

From there i tried the memory got 215@2,2,2,6 stock vdimm2.6v
260 @2.5,3,3,6 stock vdimm2.6v or 275 @2.5,3,3,6 2.9vdimm

so I settled in at 274=2466mhz with 1:1 ram ddr 548(2.5,3,3,6 1t) 3 hrs prime at 52c

Those 0550's have been doing well. I received a 0551 from ZZF today, have only heard one report and it isn't good (1.55v for 2500MHz).

edit- saw the big thread at XSF, one guy has an 0551 doing 2700 at 1.5, not quite as good as the 0550]s have been doing, but I'll be happy with ~+FX60 performance :D

Have it at 2.6Ghz now(FX-60 anyone) dual primed for 2.5hr but i plan on primeing for 8 tonight or tomorrow night.

2.7 right now doesn't look possible as i am at 1.5v(cpuz states 1.47) but i will try it at 1.45 and prime again to see if i can keep 2.6 at 1.45v :)

could you tell me what the significance in steppings are? is it just to identify the batches and the dates they were produced?

I may reseat mine tommorow with some new thermal paste, Ill check what it is. I just flashed to ocwbeta2 and seem to be stable at 2.6 on 1.42 volts or so, its shifting 1.40-1.44 on cpu-z. But i didnt do a volt mod and the bios is at 1.40.
