Anyone OC'ing 2500+ mobile and play EQ II

I am looking at eventually buying the 2500+ mobile and OCing it.

I have the SI-97 heatsink + Panaflo 92mm high speed fan waiting for when I can afford to buy the CPU.

I was wondering if anyone that played high intesity graphics games noticed any difference when swapping in this CPU from a slower one.

I went from a AXP 2000+ ->2500+ -> 2600+ mobile at 3200+ speeds.

But also went from a Ti4200->9600p -> 9800p

As for intense gfx, your vid card is more important IMHO.

What vid card you got in there? (you may see more improvement by upgrading it)

all about the vid card...should run fine on a 9800+

I have a 9600xt.

I can not upgrade it with 6.80/hour, 32hrs / week, $300 rent

How fast is your current processor?

tbird 1 ghz that I think is at 1400...I got cpu unworkable etc message when setting in softmenu but pushed F1 to continue and booted normally.
