Anyone noticing that raids are getting more infrequent...

On the server I am, raids were fairly common...and occaisonally I'd be at a friends house and witness a 40 man assault on a town or something (though I haven't heard of an attempt to sack any of the Major cities...but considering I'm nowhere near level 60 I wouldn't be suprised if i'm "not in the loop")

Anyways, I've noticed since BG came out...no one really does it anymore. It turns into "If you wanna fight head to WSG or AV"...

But there is a thing between meeting eachother to fight, and demolishing a town in an ambush you set up unexpectedly as you run around killing the other guy and spamming general chat with /yell...I thin the latter is defintely more enjoyable...

Though I see the reasons for BG, because you really don't need to organize anything. There is downtime, but usually not to the waiting that takes when it organizes a raid of a sort

do you guys agree or no?

edit:

or maybe i'm just jealous i never got a chance to really participate in them...especially if you include the fact that since I started playing I'm only level 33 right now ;)

imo, raids were WAY more fun than BG! there is something that is so ridiculously satisfying about killing some lvl 20 guys that think they can help defend against a raid. plus, you just can't piss people off by winning a game in BG like you can by sacking an opposing town.

oh yea, the alliance sucks too! go horde! rahhhhhhhhhh!

Good riddance. The only thing town raids accomplished was to make it impossible for people under level 60 to get any normal playing done.
