You'll see some really hot girl and she will be with some fat nasty friend of hers. Most of the time this is the case. Occasionly this one hot girl maybe even surrounded by fatties instead of one. I have yet to grasp the logic behind this, anyone want to fill me in?

If the attractive one does this just to make herself stand out more, id say it does the trick.

yeah.... this amazingly hot girl my best friend is going out with has the worst looking friends... so whenever he goes over to her house and one of her friends is there i just tell him to go by himself.
 
It's also a desire for the hotchick's fatty, girlgoyle friends to catch some of the crumbs that fall from her mouth. Especilly the beer-goggle wearin' crumbs.

I assume the pretty girl wants to stand out and have less competition. Who really knows, the human race is phuked up!
 
Or...maybe it's just a pretty girl who has fat friends? Maybe she's not trying to accomplish anything, and you should stop looking at it so deeply? Sorry, but sometimes, these really extensive analyzations of things that don't really need to be analyzed kind of bug me.

Yes.

And I bet it's not pretty to suddenly realize that you're the ugly one 😉

I usually try to go with friends that I believe are more or less on the same attractiveness level as I am - I figure I just wanna make it fair for all parties involved 😉

hah i highly doubt that, i know an attractive girl when i see one. theres no comparing, except one is hot and the other fat 🙂
 
Heaven forbid but maybe, just maybe the hot chick is looking beyond the surface of the not-so-hot chick and has made friends based upon reality. What it boils down to is grow up. Quit acting like a total pig (That's MY job!)and learn to realize that beauty is only skin deep. Rem that hot chick might one day get married pop out a few kids and end up with huge hips a triple chin, sucking down ciggys while chugging a natty light. And the dog could just as easly slim down learn how to carry herself, learn how to dress, and turn out to be the next Jerri Ryan. you never know.

Well, that's why she looks so hot - by contrast. 🙂
 
My theory is that it not only makes the hot girl stand out more, but there is probably a confidence boost because she knows she looks better than them.
