Anyone notice these with the Klipsch Promedias?

Hey guys,

I bought the Klipsch Promedias recently, and I've noticed a small problem. When I lower the volume on the speaker I can hear a slight imbalance between the right and left rear speakers (the left rear comes out a little more). But this is a *slight* imbalance and it's more noticeable at lower volumes. When I raise the volume back up the balance between the right and left rears become equal.

Does anyone with these speakers experience this too? A friend of mine with the Promedias tell me it's a "known problem." Do you guys have this problem? Anyone know how to fix this?

I experience this slightly with the Altec Lansing speakers I have... I wouldn't really worry about it, because those speakers aren't for listening at low levels. 🙂

I have never noticed it and I have had mine since nov99. Are you using the Soundblaster live with them ? Did you set up the sound stage correctly ?

Well in my sounds controls there is a slider for the balance, so if move the master vol balance a little thatll 'fix' it. That the only way you could really do anythign about it i reckon

Yep, this sure sucks. 🙁 So I guess almost everyone has this problem with all their speakers...

Raincity, yes I'm using soundblaster Live value with them. How is this "sound stage" supposed to be set?
