Anyone notice that gas prices have dropped quite a bit?

Everyone always bitches when prices go up, but what about when prices go down? Nobody even mentions it! Hell, two weeks ago my local pumps were pushing $1.89 for premium, today I was able to find $1.74 for premium! 😛 Cool beans!

I filled up yesterday morning for $1.28 (and a $.03/gallon discount for using my Kroger card).

By the afternoon, it was up to $1.49! Whew!

Well, hopefully if I stop by the el cheapo station down the road it'll be cheaper 😛 They're usually 4-5 cents cheaper than the competition - so maybe I'll get some @ 1.69 😀

Went down to $1.08 Thursday at a local Wal-Mart & the RaceTrak station nearby matched the price, Friday they both went back to $1.18 and today both at $1.28.

well we did conquer iraq!

No, but the pipeline in Arizona (or close to there) that had a major leak was probably fixed. Also, the hurricane a few weeks back put a little damper on some of the movement of gasoline along with a few oil well fires in Iraq. Hopefully, things will be quiet for the next few months so we can look forward to cheaper fill-ups.

$1.39 for regular unleaded at some of the gas stations in Prince William county, Virginia (No. VA)

Gas prices jumped 20 cents from ~1.28 to ~1.48 late Thursday.

Funny (not!) how you never see gas prices drop in such large chunks.

2 weeks ago $1.75 ---> now $1.69. Not much of a difference🙁 and i'm tired of my truck drinking gas like kool aid.

Yeah, it's down to $2.09.
Georgia has vacancy. 🙂 Heck, Georgia must be down to $1.20 for regular unleaded now as they have some of the cheapest gas prices in the nation.
