Anyone notice that Election...

...Posters for Bush Cheny outnumber Gore Liberman by at least a hundred to one? Same with bumper stickers.

I've noticed this in Missouri, Illinois, Indiana and Michigan.

In fact, the only yard sign for Gore I've seen was gold and black and was barely readable.

Missouri has picked the winner in Presidential elections every time but once since 1900.

Well one good thing, if Bush wins, the Republicans in congress will finally and at last be able to supress their profound envy of the fact that the Pres is twice as smart as they are. We'll all get a rest from their Puritanical priggishness.

From what I've been reading there is a good chance that congress may change hands. Things will be like they were under the other President Bush. Not a totally bad thing IMHO.

So? Those are the same people that put pink plastic flamingos on their front lawn.

Lawn signs are very obnoxious.

Proves nothing other than many Bush supporters have poor decorational taste.

To me yardsigns, bumper stickers, campaign rallies and other overt political activity is excessive. Never done any of that. But I have freely given out my opinion, and have donated $$$ to candidates. But a yardsign?! That's just not my bag, baby. Does that make me a communist? 😉

Completely opposite of California. Don't think I've seen one Bush sign or bumper sticker.

Heh, I don't think I've seen one sign or bumper sticker for anyone, period.

I think its like in sports. When LA had a football team no one went to watch cause there are other things to do. But if you live in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, a lot of people live and die football. So basically we just don't give a fsck.

Here in Alabama football is like a religion ... War Eagle! .. Yeah we got our butts chewed off by the Gators ... Repubs will win AL big, just like they always do in presidential elections. Not too many yard signs, except for ones pertaining to local elections.

Torm, I think you kinda confirm what I said. He couldn't be smart, he has to be devious. Hehe, It was such a joy to watch him slip out of the impeachment grasp of that self-righteous prig of a special prosecuter and the Rapeublican congress. All the gas those brilliant bags could muster and they couldn't convict. Nothing irks a goodie two shoe like an unpunished sexual pleasure. Comes from getting your hand slapped playing with yourself as a child. Nice to know the sickness of the Spanish inquisition is alive and well among us. Probably the most intellectually gifted pres we had since Jefferson, or maybe Lincoln. Course that's just an opinion. By the way, I didn't vote for him because I didn't like his sexual morals.

I watched Tom Campbell?, CA's Rep seeker of the senate hem and haw about how difficult a decission it was to vote for conviction, but how he just had to for truth's sake (future support of his party) He is a moderate, has to be here, and sacrificed his credibility on the impeachment pyre. The ass won't get my vote, I don't care how good he is.

You see the same flippent prosicutorial slyminess in Bush in the debate bragging about the fact of those killers in Texas getting the death penalty. At the least, one could take some notice of the tremendous loss of potential such people might have had in another life. What MAN gets excited that somebody is going to die. Yuck!

Clinton is very smart! He will go down as one of the brightest Presidents the US ever had. It is really too bad he was so self-centered that he could not see what his activities would end in. Self-centered people have a very tough time seeing they are at fault.

Clinton broke the law. The Clinton supporters only proved that dishonesty pays!

Many Republicans went down and it wasn't a bunch of Liberals that caused that.

...

<< he is a puppet. >>

...Yep, a puppet of 70% of the voters in Texas! Soon to be a puppet of mine!

<< Many Republicans went down and it wasn't a bunch of Liberals that caused that. >>

You know I never did understand why Bob Livingston (that R who was slated to become Speaker) stepped down. He basically said, "I've strayed from my marriage" and left the scene. Clinton, who committed adultery while on company time, on company property and with a 21-year employee, fought to keep his job and did. Very weird dichotomy at the very least.

America, get ready to smile! ...Oh, but we are...smiling at your lame attempts to spread your own brand of misinformed wit.😉

Well the Japanese coined the term "Bushido" for when somebody Pukes on another.

Don't know if you were kidding or not, but "bushido" is actually the samurai code of honor.
