I know maybe this belongs in Hot Deals, but it's very Photography appropriate.

I didn't know they had a MIR program right now, but I got it in my order.

Offer ends March 30th.

I bought mine from B&H - I think you have to buy from an authorized store to get the form because I can't find it on SanDisk's website, but maybe you guys might try.

Anyway I bought 2 8GB Extreme III CF cards for $199.90 @ B&H and I can get $100 back ($40 if you purchase just one). I bought a 4GB Extreme III as well for $59.95 and can get $20 back on those.

So total I will get is $120 back on a Visa gift card. Which I will probably use to purchase another 8GB Extreme III card.

Pretty good deal IMO!

Here's the form:

OdiN, Thanks for the great hot deal for everyone in here. You're right about it belonging in the hot deals forum, but I'm glad you posted it in here. To avoid breaking the rule about cross-posting, rather than just moving this thread over to hot deals (where likely the people in Cameras won't see it), I'll lock it and leave it here instead. If anyone would like to discuss this deal, please do so over in the hot deals forum. I'll also sticky this thread for 3 days, since it's locked, so everyone gets a chance to see it.

Those are some great rebates, wonder if they are offering them because they plan to release some new and faster models?

The Extreme IV is on there too though, and that's relatively new.

Why won't anyone ever do this on the xD cards that I need for my Fuji? It doesn't take very long at all to fill up a 1GB card when shooting RAW.. :p

Tell me about it. I'm getting the 8GB cards because file sizes on my 40D can be up to 15MB per shot in RAW.

I didn't want to get huge cards though - when shooting a wedding it's good to spread the shots over multiple cards, just in case one goes bad you have something left. Never had a memory card go bad on me though - but I probably replace them every 2-3 years anyway.
