It's kind of scary reading about the people who only smoked for ten years, quit for twenty and still got lung cancer.

some of the MD's here in winnipeg have turned their patients away if they were smokers. i think it's cool when ppl take a stand against such a stupid habit.

I'm sooo glad I don't smoke. If anyone out there is thinking about starting, don't do it. It might ruin your future!

I also read on CNN's website the other day about how packs of cigarettes in Canada were now being sold with graphic pictures of the damage smoking can do to your lungs, teeth, etc. to deter people from starting.

those pics are pretty gross. Whether they will actually help will have to be seen in a couple years. now if only we could keep our youth from starting smoking in the first place....

People can get lung cancer by not smoking ever in their whole life too.

And then there's those people that smoke a pack a day for 40 years and never get a cancer cell in their body.

Eat GREEN LEAFY vegetables....Broccoli and such....that stuff helps you fight off stuff like Cancers...it won't work miricles, but it will help your cells fight toxins.
