Anyone move on from an A650IS?

My A650IS was stolen last year. I loved this camera. Not sure if the G11 is the right move.

Anyone have one of these great cameras and moved anywhere below the dSLR range?

I want a similar sized camera or smaller with the manual ability the A650IS offered.

Thanks

I looked at that one in person, that rear dial I see as a problem especially going picture to bag a lot or worse pocket.

Plus I agree it doesn't feel good in one's hands.

We some tactileness and a tighter knob this would be a better camera. I like the lens dial on it, I hope the next G has something like it...sort of holding out for it.

But then again they killed the A lineup in reality after the A650IS.

Agreed, Alkemyst.

The G11 is a seriously killer camera. If you're looking to save some money, the G9 and G10 are also very good. Hell, I enjoy shooting with my parents' G6 still when my 5D isn't available and I'm at home.
