Considering how the images were just damn good, it's too bad that Kodak has given up dslr lines. I know those superior images only come when the circumstances are met but as the summer is coming along, I wish I could get my hand on one of those Kodak cameras.

Color is perfect. Tonal response is far better than any dslrs in the market and it's just so much better. Just when it comes to image processing, IMO, Kodak was light years ahead of everybody.
Too bad it had terrible ISO noise level, choromic abberation casued by the seneor, IQ of the camera that amazingly sucked. Too bad nobody licenses image processing mechanisms from Kodak as seen in printer markets.

Ah, I can only dream of Cameras that produce images like Kodak and has a IQ of Nikon cameras, but for now I can only settle for Canon.

I still remember the days where the Kodak 35mm film commands a higher price over other brands like Fuji and "the one in a blue box." It just FEELs like Kodak film make better picture and totally justify the premium.

kodak is making a ton of money on digital imaging licenses. they couldn't keep their customer-sensor program competitive with sony, though. at least for SLRs. they still make small sensors.

Fuji has made great film for years, IMO. Superia and Reala were great alternatives to Kodak's offerings.
