Anyone make animated GIFs?

I was thinking about getting into claymation, but I decided to try animated GIFs first because it's easier. I've made a few, and I'm really enjoying it, but I have a problem. I've been using Jasc Animation Shop 3, which seems to be a great program that's really simple and easy to use. The problem is that when it saves my animation sometimes certain elements from the previous frame get written into subsequent frames. Look here. In some frames the fly gets written twice, where I had it in that frame, and where I had it in the frame before. I've tried opening the file and fixing it, but it does the same thing when I save it again. I've even tried deleting that frame, but it does it to the next one in that case.

So, there seems to be a lot of programs to use to create animated GIFs. What is everyone using?

I messed around and fixed it. I guess the fly was just too small and it had trouble displying it smoothly across several frames. I made it a little bigger and it seemed to fix it.
