Anyone make a portable DVD player for MP3s?

I would love to be able to load 4 GB of MP3s on a DVD and carry around a small CD-like player. Seems like it would be a cheap alternative to hard-drive based players. Anyone know of such a device? I can find lots of portable DVD video players, but not one dedicated to MP3s. And yes I did do a google search.
 
i think the sony ap20u fits the bill. think it's discontinued and hard to find though.
