He wanted a Radeon 9700 Pro around $200, I got one. He didnt specify that. Besides, I am not going to give you all the links for all the cards. Is it really that hard to type Radeon 9700 Pro in ebay's search?

Really? I checked and the final price normally ended up $250 plus shipping.
Got link to one that ends at $200?

Ebay is ok for some things. I've gotten some pretty good deals on video games and other misc. stuff. But a lot of the time it's really a gamble. Sometimes you get the wrong stuff shipped to you or the item isn't as described. And sure this can sometimes happen with a retailer, but it's less likely and usually easier to get the problem fixed. Plus it's a real pain to get the error fixed and often isn't really worth it when the item didn't cost that much anyways. I recall when I was looking for a video card the ones on ebay were about the same (or in some cases more) than retail places. In addition the shipping on many of these were outrages, sometimes $15 or $20 to ship a 3 pound item. Also, you're not going to get a receipt from an ebay item, which you might need if your video card dies on you and you try to get the manufacturer to replace it. I guess it depends how much of a deal you can get and how much you're really willing to risk.
