What if your work was in the other time zone but it's only a 15 min away.

Do you adjust your watch everytime you go to/come from work? Do you leave at 6am and arrive there by 7:15am but it's actually 6:15am?

What about with your friends? When you decide to go out with them, how do you establish which time zone to use by?

My old house was on the border of IN and MI. MI changes time, IN does not.

Well, since there is absolutely nothing of interest in Indiana, I don't have that problem.

Both my wife and I live in Georgia, and work in Alabama. You get used to it. Whenever we plan a meeting with friends, it's normal to ask "Is that Georgia time or Alabama time?".

With the set time zones it's got be a lot better then the old way, with 12.5 miles traveled (east/west) equals a 1 minute time change.

Yea, I'm right past the border for the central time zone. It sucks because in the summer, the area less than 30 minutes away from up get's an extra hour of daylight more than we do :(

I did that for a while. My watch has dual times. I traveled from EST to CST every day, so my 40 minute drive looked like 1 hour 40 minutes.

what about when you go to work and so forth? you obviously use Ala time to go to work cause thats where your office is.. but when you come back home to GA do you switch it back to GA time or stick w/ Ala time?

LMAO. This is what I love about ATOT. These crazy little questions I've often pondered myself but never asked then I get to sit back and enjoy the varied responses.

Wouldn't that make your drive home -20 minutes?

Or what if your street was the dividing line -- you could go cross the street to get your mail and go back in time :Q
