anyone live near Amish?

I was reading an article in a newspaper that talked about Amish making money by selling furniture, food, and even having bed & breakfasts. They (Amish) were in their traditional clothes but in close-up pics of the girls I swear they all had tweezed/shaped their eyebrows...some of the girls were hot.

There's loads of Mennonites and Amish in the Northern Ontario - we see them on the drive up to our cottage. Every time we pass them, I think, "Fvcking retards."

Yea, he is one someone who should not be calling anybody names... Anyways, I live in Ohio and there are some towns not far away that still have hitching posts. They will use phones but they don't have them but will have no problem coming and borrowing someones elses from what some guys at work say.

They do make great furniture but the problem is that alot of people have been slapping the amish name on stuff that has nothing to do with them just trying to get more sales. Its kinda pathetic. They sell baked goods all the time at some of the fleamarkets I go to and they are usually pretty awsome.

I was thinking of electric amish too..

Anyone heard from him lately? I dont think I have seen him on the forums in a long while.

Don't even start with me. My entire life I have been complimented on my appearance. Just last night I had three complete strangers comment on my outfit. You sweatly little internet trolls don't give a toss about your appearance and thus don't deserve an opinion on the subject.

Have you ever seen any good looking Amish girls?

Not super hot no, Cute and pretty yes. Anyone ever heard of the "black bumper Mennonites" Saw a show talking about them. They will drive cars but the chrome all has to be painted black.

HAHAHAHAHA
Dude, I walked into a bar with a shirt that says "sh!t happens" and 3/4 of the bar commented on it.

Sure I live close to a few of them. The local Walmart even has covered spots for their horses and carriages.

I ought to smack you for thinking Guelph is "Northern" Ontario. Unless you've personally thrown crap at a bear to get it off your property, stop being an eWoodsman. 😉 😀

I'm on a high horse because people put me there. When I get people walking up to me and saying, "That's an awesome jacket," or "You always look so flash, you've got to take me shopping," it allows me to make statements like I did.

No, no. I was referring to our drive up to our cottage in Lion's Head, near Tobermory. Still not really Northern Ontario, but you get the picture.

Works.🙂 I still consider myself barely on the edge of "Northern" geographically, but there's enough redneck mentality and wandering wildlife to ratchet us up higher on the atmospheric scale. 😀
