Everything you can do in the water...though it might be a bit chilly...
Snorkel, jet ski, water ski, dive (if you're certified), and anything else your aquatic heart desires.

Forecast is a high in the mid 70s and a low in the mid-50s. Maybe water stuff might not be so great after all...

we've always had a boat on the connecticut river here that goes out to long island sound, and we had a lake house my whole life until last year. we're a water-oriented family, which is why we're going. snorkeling is the obvious. one of my dads old friends lives down there so we're trying to get a boat for a couple days, he works at a place that rents them i think. and ill check the forecast to see what its like, thanks.

Anyone live in the Florida Keys? Of course, some people live there. What a silly question.

i've lived there during summers before, i used to live in ft. myers, about 4-5 hours north of the keys, if you drive super slow, and went their all the time to snorkel, skin dive, and fish.

It's 49F right now in Orlando. It has to be a little cool down south.

I went there for vacay last August and it was a lot of fun! We went waverunning, sunset sail, and snorkeling. You can find all this stuff down at the docks of downtown key west.

Night life wasn't bad, Fat Tuesday's rocks during happy hour with all their different slush mixes. You get hammered quick off of them.... Also went to an Irish pub out there on the main strip. Overall lots of fun.

One of the weaknesses of KW is their beaches... they suck. There was actually a bacterial alert (2 different types, one was FECAL) for 2 of them (and a couple in Marathon) because of all the runoff water, it comes right off the streets of KW. If you're going to go out in the water rent a boat or jet ski and go out and swim.

If it's warm enough, you definitely have to do snorkeling. We went to a place called Green something (Sanctuary?) and it was a protected coral reef. We saw 2 barracudas and a 6.5 foot nurse shark, scared the hell out of my step brother haha. Some really colorful species of fish to see though, leaves you in awe. :)
