Anyone live in SF and commute to work in South Bay?

How's the commute both directions? Do you drive or take the Caltrains? Would like to move to the city but concerned about the commute to mountain view.
 
SF to Mountain View isn't that bad. I have one friend who commutes from the Marina down to Los Gatos every day but he's set up a work arrangement where he can come in at 7ish and leave by 4ish to make the drive more manageable.
If you're going to take Caltrain, choose the area you're going to be living in wisely (i.e. close to the station). I have friends who commute to Sunnyvale and other parts of the South Bay, but they live over on the other side of the city and choose to drive because getting to the train station every day can take half of the time it would take to drive all the way down.
