I'm thinking about buying a piece of land for future plans to build a house when the time is right to move. What is a good place to buy land at a reasonable price? I'm thinking around $15,000. I've seen on realtor.com sizes that range from .1-.3 acres for that price, but I don't know where it's located.

Is there a certain realtor that is reasonable and could help someone with the purchasing of the land? I would definitely drive up there (5 hour drive) before making the purchase, but it'd be nice to have a list of good land in my price range before going.

I'd imagine the Ocala area you're looking at is pretty rural ... I've been through it many times driving from N. FL to S. FL ...
 
Well, I was mainly looking for land that is in a nicer area close to places and such. If I did decide to move there in the future, my first place to look for a job would be Marion County Sheriff's department since I am currently employed at the sheriff's department here.

If there was a nice house for a good price I probably wouldn't be against buying it though.
