Price needs to be $1400 or less for a 1 bedroom

Looking for apartments that are in decent shape and in a safe area

Are you looking to live near a specific area? If you are going to live near UC Irvine, the rent is higher than say the Tustin/Irvine border area. If you can live in Costa Mesa or the Costa Mesa/Santa Ana border area, that will cut your rent significantly.
