Anyone live in Delaware? need job info?

Howdy all, Well seems like my fiancee got a job offer in Delaware with Dupot Chemical and she really seem to want to take it (Pays 7K more a year and they will pay to relocate her), and since we live together that means that more than likely I would have to move as well (especially since we are to be married this October)...I was just wondering if the market was as bad or worse for IT support down there as it is everywhere else....I know Delaware is smaller but I have not been to the state other than driving through it when I lived in DC/VA.

Any info on the job scene and the overall living conditions there would be greatly apprecaited.

Well, Delaware has alot of biotech companies, which always need IT. I would see if I could get somehting at DOW, or UD, or even one of the racetracks, sicne they have casinos there. Good Luck! It's a small state, but you can go into southern NJ, southern PA, and MD, all within easy commuting distances.
 
Thanks clover, I really wish I could commute back into DC as I loved working there 🙂 but I know that is a little unrealistic. I worked for a Biotech once and I believe they have an office down in Wilmington, but they are all contracted out to the Dark Empire (IBM) and I would rather not work for them. I will check out your suggestions though. Thanks
