Dear Summer

I had a roommate in the past but I may be living alone now

I didn't feel any kind of need to be social that much and I didn't feel any loneliness, probably because I had a housemate.

I'm going to working the typical 9-5. I don't know anyone in the city right now.
I just don't like the feeling of coming home to an empty dark place every night after work.

Is it better?

Its nice living on your own. Trust me. So much better than having a roommate if you can afford it. Alas, my fiance moves in to my house in May and we marry in June......but I like living with her 😛 😉

living alone for the past 3 years. I like it.

I miss having a roommate sometimes, but on the other hand, you can walk around naked and have sex with your SO (or your hand, for most of ATOT 😉) in any room of the apartment whenever you want to 😛

I'm looking forward to living alone and when my parents are gone and I have the house to myself, I enjoy it. Saving up for a house now, hopefully I can afford one this summer. My tax return and my bonus will help bump me up a bit as far as savings go. I'd love to be able to put at least 15% down. I'm debating on taking my shares out too, they went up.

In a big city it would kind of creep me though because there's so much crime and people with guns, but I'd just get a few very large dogs, maybe even a tiger or a lion. Meow. Or just get ADT, less maintenance. 😛

Yes!!

/cue "Another one bites the dust" 😀

Welcome to the club, my friend! Sure..."you like living with her." I know what evil lurks in the hearts of men. Er, I mean..."Yeah, man, rock on! I know what you're thinking and how you feel! You love her!"

Yepper. I used to love to have sex with my girlfriend whenever I wanted to. Then I got married. I still have sex...yeah. IN FACT, I can have sex whenever she wants me to ! Word'em up, yo. I can have sex whenever she wants me to.

LMK how you're doing about a year from now. I'm here for you, man.

I love living alone and having my own personal space, especially after a long day. I like being able to come home and not have to deal with anyone if I don't want to.

I love having a roommate. When I was 17-18 I had a roommate (dorms), 19 I had 3 roommates (apt), 20-22 I lived alone, every since (last 3 years) I have had a roommate.

I love it for a few reasons: it motivates me to be more social rather than just sit around and play video games, etc. You also get to know someone really well and have to practice compromise, considering other peoples feelings, etc.

It's a blast, I will never live alone again if I can help it.

*sigh* That was me from 1993 to 2007, minus about 1.5 years of cohabitation. Then I got married (not the girl I was cohabitating with!)

I have gotten older, unfortunately. 😉 My rompin', stompin' days are long behind me. I don't miss being able to just bring home whatever chick I happen to be dating this week. I hadn't done that in quite a few years anyway.

No...what I miss is exactly what RaistlinZ posted. After living alone for so many years it's difficult to always come home to someone in your face.

I've adjusted well to married life. Thankfully the wife and I have very different interests. Her interest in "computers" is limited to Myspace.com. You guys know me already.

Plus, I play my guitar, work on my video projects etc. She talks with her friends on the phone (all 334,123 of them) and updates her Myspace.

*sigh again* Enjoy your single life for as long as possible.!!!

Splitting the bills is a major plus for me right now so I don't mind having a roommate.

Plus I had a roommate when living on campus for 2 years so I got used to it. The hardest thing is finding someone trustworthy (not to steal your stuff or eat your expensive food items), responsible (pay bills on time), and reasonably clean (Not a neat freak, but a not a slob either).
