I've been listening to talk radio alot lately. The Sean Hannity show is on in the afternoon. Why is it that every person who calls in has to shove their nose way up his ass, telling him how great he is and how they love his book and so on. Man, it just gets irritating after a while, it's almost cult like. I think they spend more time buttering up to him than actually voicing their opinion on the topic at hand.

that's my rant for today

I listen to a local guy, Glenn Beck, Bill O'Reilly, and then Michael Savage. I don't listen to it all day of course, but I turn it on when I'm around a radio. I really enjoy O'Reilly, but the other guys are just too extreme, and they don't explain their views. O'Reilly can be an ass, but at least he tells you why he is so.

I would rather have a tooth extraction than listen to Sean. His incessant whining is truly obnoxious.

Fave are Boortz and Jerry Agar(listening to him now)

Both are fairly moderate

No. Talk-radio is way too right-wing.

Try Fox Live with Allan Combs. I also like Tom Lykis since he doesn't discuss politics, just how to get laid.

From 7am-10pm, I listen to Walton and Johnson (available in Louisiana, Mississipppi, and Texas only AFAIK). I like O'Reilly in the afternoons but can't get a good signal, so I generally listen to Rush.

I listen to a lot of shows, but usually just 15-30 minutes at a time when I'm in the car.

I like O'Reilly. I think he's the most honest and unbiased. Sure he has a conservative leaning, but he says what he thinks, even if that means criticizing Bush, which he has done many times.

Michael Savage is a fvcking religious zealot lunatic. I despise him.

Michael Medved is interesting because 90% of the calls are from liberals who totally disagree with him. This is far more interesting than the shows where all the calls are people just repeating that they agree with the host's viewpoints.

I also like Laura Ingraham. That show is pretty entertaining.

Hannity actually has quite a few callers and guests with opposite viewpoints. I loved it when he talked to Ted Kennedy. That was hilarious. Kennedy wouldn't even answer any of the questions. He kept changing the topic.

Rush annoys me.

EDIT: WTF? I've had dp's before, but never accidentally quoted myself.

I'd like to see you debate him.
