Nope, never heard of them. Who are they? APC rules. Mer De Noms was better than The Thirteenth Step though imo. Oh well.

I dont like the new album very much. Weak and Powerless had me psyched
and its a great song but kinda misleading in terms of what to expect from the
album. certainly caused me to approach it with the wrong idea.

I personally like both that thirteenth step and mer de noms have to offer. Maynard definitely approaches much more delicate territory with thirteenth step, however, mer de noms was a groundbreaking album for a brand new group. Paz added a dimention to mer de noms not heard on thirteenth step, aside from Gravity, which happens to be one of my favorite songs. Perhaps because of the old influence, perhaps not.

Either way, I will be at their concert in Dallas as well as Indianapolis on this upcoming tour.

actually, it's highly unlikely that Paz played anything on Mer de Norms (if someone has a link otherwise, please post it). Billy had the whole thing recorded (minus drums) when he hooked up with Maynard. They hired reknowned session drummer Josh Freese to lay down some drums, and there was the album.

When you put some of the best of the best together, you end up with a good band.

Maynard, excellent voice.
Herb, Prolly one of the most versetile drummers I have ever scene.

EDIT: BTW, It's A Perfect Circle "APC"

I hate to burst your bubble, but maybe you should go read the liner notes of your CD. Did you buy it or did you download the album? If you owned it you would know otherwise. Just for information (and no I'm not pasting a link, I'm reading the CD notes right in front of me), paz participated on tracks 3, 4, 5, 6 (believe it or not her brother also played on this track), 7, and 9.

Thanks for playing though.

It's actually A Perfect Circle.

I haven't heard their new stuff, but I enjoyed the old stuff very much

sure do! I actually like them better than Tool. I really piss off the Tool fans by saying that :)
