I listened to a little of it, but she's a damned nutjob. It'll be interesting to see what she does in that "private reading" they're setting up.

It was nice to finally hear someone call out one of these so called psychics. He had her dead to rights and all she could do was sputter about not using her gift to prove something. The amazing thing is even with all the evidence that this woman has 0 ability to talk to the dead including that fiasco on Monday a listener actually ponied up $300.00 for a reading.

The bigger question here is why would anyone be listening to Howard Stern?

i listed to just over an hour of the show, i listen to it every morning when i drive to work ( long ride ). one thing she was good at is talking though, i've heard Howard beat the crap out of people in talk and they didn't stand a chance, he made them looks completely stupid. For some reason this lady put up a good fight, but in the end Howard got the better of her.

man i tell you what though, she brought the crew to a friggin lake or something and said she needed metal detectors to find where the body was at *under water* how are you supposed to use a metal detector under water? and how the heck is someone going to bury the girl 30 feet under water? they should call her a psycho not a psychic

Well for the Washington Metro area
WAMU and WETA Public Radio Self important people all patting one another on the back while spewing forth biased viewpoints disguised as news. No Thanks.
WPGC RAP-Urban. Not my cup of tea.
WARW Really bad classic rock including the top 40 releases rather than the full length versions. No thanks.
The "Mix" stations. The best Mix of the worst of the 70's, 80's, 90's and today with Jack Diamond and his cast of sycophants. Nope not there either.
WWDC The Rock station for DC. Elliot in the Morning is occasionally entertaining so I am there until some thinly disguised Rock as Rap comes on.
WJFK Howard Stern. Sometimes funny sometimes not.

Linflas: No local college stations? That's my first choice to check out.

Stern can be interesting in small doses, once in a while. His commercial breaks go on forever, though. I can't imagine that any listeners actually stay tuned through them. You think the advertisers would catch on.

There once was a great one here run by Georgetown University called WGTB. They were a very popular underground station (60's-70's style) but Georgetown dumped them in the early 80's despite massive protests and petitions from the listeners. The largest college radio station I am aware of here is now is WAMU run by American University and they have pretty much gone for all NPR news-talk and recently dumped a very popular afternoon bluegrass program that had been in place for 20 or more years. Large market radio is solely demographics driven these days with program managers going for specific market demos. College radio is the only non playlist driven radio left as far as I know. I will have to check and see if any of the other local universities have radio stations as I have not heard of any. As for Stern I he seems to be going through the motions for the most part these days. He is no where near as over the edge and innovative as he was 20 years ago. For the most part he seems to have become what he used to make fun of regarding celebrities and their lifestyles.

Bozo Galora - There is no uncensored video of the Stern show available on E!. E! is generally part of basic cable and although not required they follow the same guidelines as over the air broadcasters for the most part.
