Picked up the CD after I heard Crawling in the Dark and I love the whole thing. It's the only other CD I can listen to straight through without having to skip, the other being Linkin Park :)

Been listening to them for over 2 years now. Get their cd called "basketball shorts". And it's by hoobustank, not hoobastank. It's more ska-ish.

Oh and if you like them and incubus check out Jimmies Chicken Shack. Check out a few songs called Do right, Slow Change, Face it, Bong Jam, High, Waiting, Lazy Boy Dash...

Ha no you're right with Hoobastank. Their name was hoobustank, but they changed the U to an A because nobody was pronouncing the name correctly. I'm just saying their name was hoobustank when they released the cd "basketball shorts".

Call them Hoobastancubus for proper terminology, as they sound exactly like Incubus.

How to succeed in the music industry.. find a popular band.. adjust your talent that might be fresh to emulate that band, thus destroying originality.. demo.. go on MTV.. wait for TEH MONIES!!

EDIT: I'm talking about "Crawling in the Dark" Hoobastancubus, never heard of any other.

I don't know what group you're listening to, but hoobastank sounds nothing like incubus. First of all they originated as a ska band. They then lost their trumpet/sax guys and have been more of a rock band since then. Incubus has a DJ and has so many original sounds that hoobastank couldn't copy if they tried, they don't sound alike.

Don't get me wrong though..I fully agree with your MTV money cash bling bling system.

Yeah, anyone who has heard more than 1 incubus song wouldnt say that Hooba sounds the least bit like them...
the lead singer of hooba has a similar voice to that of the lead singer of Incubus, but thats about it..

if you only have 2 cds that you listen to all the way through you must have a extremely bad taste in music.

Linkin Park? OMFG. You listen to Limp Biskit and Eminem too? I saw LP on the cover of RS a couple months ago, so I checked out a few of their tracks. Sound like another bunch of whiney little new metal shopping mall f@g bands to me. If you want metal, get some Slayer, Overkill, etc. If you want MTV metal...Linkin Park is your band. Hoobastanks is absolutely atrocious. Great MTV filler tho....
