Anyone listen to books on tape with iPod?

Where do you download these? It'd be nice if it was for free too, but I'm willing to buy one.

How do you get it to your iPod if you don't have your iTunes program with you? I've never figured that out, can you use someone else's iTunes? Or can you somehow drag it to the iPod when you connect it to the computer?

I listen to audio books on my iPod. I rip them using Alcohol to my computer then import them using iTunes into one big chapter per CD.
