Anyone like Day of Defeat?

I played it for a little while before I reformatted my machine. I remember it being very realistic and very hard. 1 shot kills.
 
Its a very fun game. A lot more camping than say CS, but since it is a World War II setting the gameplay dictates that.
 
camping??? doubtful, i rarely camp unless i'm the machine gunner or sniper... even when i'm the sniper i'm running around the map.

its compared to Counter Strike... but its based on WW2 mod, and point of the game is to cap the flags, its free to download as long as you have a copy of HL.

Just try it out..
 
Its my favorite PC game of all time. Its a really solid all around game and the maps are absolutely indigenous. I like the new 1.0 release, but it feels kind of different.
