Anyone knows how to deglass labtop's monitor, please help

My labtop has a black band blocking at the corner of my monitor. I don't know why it happened. Anyone knows how to fix it? Please help. Thanks.

did you happen to drop it?
it might be expensive to fix....

if its wut i think you mean, i doubt you could fix it yourself...
