Anyone knows about Plasma TVs?

Well, it has been close to 6 months since I first started to look into the Plasma TV idea. I have a small living room so wall mount is my only option. I have heard many good things in AVS forums about the panasonic 6UYs. I do have to say that they are great EDTVs for $2600 delivered, but then you have to get a tuner and speaker for it which add more to your final cost. Well I pull the trigger and brought a JVC PD42WX84 instead. 🙂 Here is my baby!!!

If anyone knows about this TV or any others, please feel free to comment. DVDs never looked this good before 🙂.

yup i should have but that special price won't have lasted long enough to get people's comments. 🙂

Nice choice. Panel is identical to the 42PHD6UY (one of the best on the market), but electronics are from JVC. There are some pluses and minuses (scaler).

I doubt it. OneCall had it for $3530.92 plus shipping. Chances are, he paid that or maybe even less.

You got that right. 🙂 Great Price for what you can get. I meant a DLP would cost about the same. 🙂 Progressive Scan on DVD player is never look this good. 🙂
