Anyone knows a FREE graphic converter?

I need to convert 2 gigs of TIF files (TIF to JPG), and wondering is there a free graphic converter out there that do such a thing...

I want it to be "automated" for obvious reason.

Or can I just use Photoshop? I don't see any "batch" command to let me do it, and I don't think I want to convert the file(s) one by one...
