anyone know why my K8N-Neo4 BIOS would change my CPU speed?

I burned in at 2700 (300x9) MHz and it's been running at that speed a while now.

I just noticed today I am at 270x9...I never changed this.

I know my BIOS will default CPU to 200x9 if it doesn't boot right 3x in a row, but I didn't have that problem...

Maybe a fluke...anyone else experience this?

Could be your CMOS battery failing. I've had that happen and corrupt settings, including the FSB setting.

I experienced some similar flakiness with the shipped bios on my K8N SLI when I first built the system back in summer '05, but I flashed a modded bios, then later an official MSI version, and it has been rock solid ever since.
