Anyone Know Who Offers Decent DSL for $20-$30/Month?

My dad was paying $20/month with WinFire until they folded. Does anyone else provide service in that range?

Northpoint was good for around $40 untill the current at&t screw job

You will be lucky to find crappy service for less than $40

Most of the phone companies here in Texas offer line and ISP for a total of $40/month. And contratry to some beliefs, I find them quite reliable. Had Swbell DSL for 8 months in Houston and found them extremely reliable, almost always has the full 1.5 Mb/s bandwidth they allocated to my line.

Are you talking the line, or the ISP service? Typically it's a minimum of around $20 apiece, more if you want a higher level of service.

Most of the companies here used to charge separate fees, but now it shows up as just one $40 chunk. Not sure how they bill you for using a separate ISP like Flashcom or Earthlink. I stuck with the telco service.
