I bought an muvo2 with 256mb cf in it off of ebay for $110 shipped. You cant get a better deal on a solid state mp3 player with that sound quality. I havent owned many other mp3 players but after this thing I will never use a regular portable cd player again.

muvo2 without the 4gb drive for ~30-40 off ebay, then buy a compatible 256 compact flash card.

IC so these Muvo2's are nice? I seen them and they don't look impressive but I guess thats not important. Got to looking at the specs on it and I ain't to sure about the rechargeable battery. How reliable are these batteries? If it craps out how hard would it be to get another?

Yes these batteries are great. I tried to run mine empty just for the fun of it and it took me two days of leaving it on and off. you can always get the remote if the screen is too small for you and it will be able to play fm record fm record voice and record external audio.

I read somewhere that not all compact flash works. Don't really want to hun a specific brand down on the forums. I sure can't afford buying new.

compact flash cards are pretty darn cheap these days, check out some threads in hotdeals or on fatwallet.

here's a list of cards that are suppose to be compatible, dunno how reliable/accurate it is though. goodluck.
