I've got a nice practilly new trombone I'm tryin to sell, but I don't know where to sell it. I've tried newspaper ads, talking to kids at school, I'd try E-bay, but there are alot there, and they don't sell for very high. Is there anywhere particular that I could find a sale easier?

Visit a few music shops and see which one will take the highest price.

I'll trade you my trumpet for it.

In all seriousness, you may want to try a pawn shop, or sell it to a 4th grader's parent around september.

Tominator, I go to the local high school :) And I don't pay taxes :)

RSI, the only local one only offered me $200 for it, I paid $1200 last year and it's still practicall new....there are a few others I could try, I suppose, but they aren't all that close

Some trombones fetch a good price on e-bay, but that is probably the exception. If you have a music/instrument shop locally maybe they could sell it for you.

Look for bulletin boards in music stores and places where musicians perform. See what kind of trade value you can get towards the amp. Contact the local musician's union and ask them for advice on where to sell. They often have bulletin boards and some have classifieds on a website. I think Local 140 covers your area (Exeter).
