anyone know where to get a part for a camcorder?

someone gave me the cam without the LCD screen, the whole LCD assembly was ripped off, i tried to google parts for it, but didnt find anything.

Is there an owners manual? The Canon OEM part number should be listed towards the back.

that's gonna be pretty expensive. does the viewfinder work?

i dont have a battery for it either, but when i plug it in, it just beeps.

you probably wouldn't want to bother repairing that. but if you do, bring it to a local repair depot and most of them will do diagnostics/estimates for 30 or 40 bucks.

well does anyone know where to find a screen? if its under 100$ ill risk installing it myself

did you try calling canon? I can get you the part, but I highly doubt it will be under $100.
