im making a personal webpage and i was wondering where i can get a message box thing, where visitors can leave a comment posted and other people can view/post as well. ive tried using a chatterbox from chatter.flooble.com but its not very efficient, ie slow load times, if it loads at all. it would also help if it was a free service. btw im not using a paid domain nor am i using geocities, xanga, etc

I thought of this thing you can put on a webpage, where people type into the box and their message gets posted on the page. They can discuss topics, post links, and start new discussions. Others can see and respond to the messages. I call it a "forum". God I rule.

If you're not using a paid domain or geocities, etc. then who is your web host?

There's a shoutbox code at phpbb2hacks.com or something like that. I can't remember the address, but google it. It sounds exactly like what you want. You just have to know PHP.
